In 2019, during a serene visit to the lush tea gardens of Darjeeling, our founder, Mr. Sandip Mitra, experienced a moment of inspiration. Surrounded by the aroma and richness of fresh tea leaves, he envisioned a future where every cup of tea could deliver authenticity, purity, and unmatched quality to people everywhere.

This vision sparked a deep commitment. Determined to serve only the finest tea to society, Mr. Mitra immersed himself in the world of tea. He began a rigorous journey of self-education — devouring world-class books from libraries, watching insightful documentaries and expert-led videos, and absorbing every bit of knowledge he could find.

In early 2024, he took a significant step forward by enrolling in a professional tea institute to master the art of tea tasting and deepen his expertise. Armed with both knowledge and passion, he established Flavour of Leaves in August 2024.
